When Jesus tells us to abide in him, he’s using a very rich word. He’s painting a picture of union — of resting in him and dwelling with him in a picture of shared life. He’s also painting a picture of sanctification, because this shared life is a life with direction, one where he is maturing us and making us ever more like him. It’s a process that involves pruning, which can feel uncomfortable or even painful at times, but the purpose of pruning is always healthy flourishing and an abundance of life!

Our speaker this year will be Pastor Christian Simas from Reality Stockton. Come with us as we get out of the city in order to seek God and connect with one another. We will be gathering from all over Los Angeles to worship and spend time as family in Christ.
