There are many ways to participate in the life of our church. Below you’ll find times, dates, and further information on our church family’s various upcoming activities. And check back often: there’s always something new!
We live in a world where many have given up hope. But we refuse to despair.
There is hope. His name is Jesus. Because Jesus is alive, we can have a settled confidence that change is possible and that, by God’s grace, we not only receive hope but can become part of spreading and growing it in the hearts and lives of others.
Family Date Night
We believe God is a familial God — that he brings us into his family by adopting us as sons and daughters and therefore makes his church brothers and sisters. Because God esteems families, we want to show value and dignity and display commitment to the families in our church and our city. One way we pursue this is Family Date Night!
2019 Faith + Work Conference
Work is not separate from our lives of faith, but an integral part of them and a crucial way that God blesses his world. Through our work, each of us is given various levels of influence, resources, wealth, power, and skills. What does it mean to steward these well as the good gifts from God they are and leverage them for God’s good purposes in Los Angeles?
Pray for Easter 2019
Reality LA began as a prayer meeting and our corporate life ever since has been built on prayer. We believe nothing of significance can happen without prayer. So we invite you to join us at the Hope Center for an evening of prayer and worship. Join us as we pray together through Psalm 84 for our upcoming Easter gathering.
2018 Giving Statements
This year, annual giving statements are available through our online platform, RLA Connect. Click below for instructions on how to retrieve your 2018 statement.
Good Friday 2019
Good Friday serves as a reminder of the wonderful truth that “God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” Reality LA will partner with First Presbyterian Church of Hollywood for a Good Friday service that will include worship, payer, and readings from God’s word.
Easter Baptisms 2019
Being baptized in Jesus’ name shows your identification with Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection. In baptism, you as a believer are publicly testifying that when Christ died on the cross for your sins, you died to your former life of sin against God. But as Christ was raised from the dead, so you were also raised to eternal life in relationship with him. Baptism is thus a public declaration and picture of the salvation found in Christ. We will be incorporating baptisms into all three of our Easter Sunday gatherings!
RLA Involve is a simple, one-time place for you to learn more about our church and start getting involved in our community.
Royal Family KIDS Camp
There are over 35,000 children in the foster care system in LA County alone: Los Angeles desperately needs the family of God to reflect the heart of God to children in the foster care system. One way we’re joining in the work God is doing is by putting on Royal Family KIDS Camp (RFKC), a 5-day camp specifically for children ages 6-12 in the foster care system.
Our New Home
On August 12, 2018, we announced Reality LA is inheriting the people, ministries, and buildings of Hope International Bible Fellowship. We believe this is a monumental provision from the Lord in our putting roots down in our city and in catalyzing the unique vision and mission God has given us in Los Angeles.
