Hope Central Watts Father-Daughter Dance

MAY 29, 2-9PM WATTS

Each year we partner with Hope Central Watts Church to host a father-daughter dance for elementary-school-aged girls in the Compton and Watts communities toward one common goal: caring for young women in our community to reinforce their value, dignity, worth, and hope!

Anyone who needs an escort is paired with a local LAPD chaperone for the evening and all students are connected to Hope Central Watts for future investment and mentorship. This is a wonderful, tangible opportunity to witness to Christ and respond to God’s call to care for the fatherless in our city.

Volunteer

We need hair stylists, makeup artists, photographers, and anyone willing to set up or serve food to help make the evening extra special. Volunteers can help with afternoon prep (set-up, hair and makeup, taking photos) or at the dance in the evening (taking photos, chaperoning, tear-down).

Submissions are due by Sunday, May 24.
