Alison moved to Los Angeles in 2014 to work in the TV industry. She had been on a journey of seeking the Lord for some time, and shortly after moving here she started a relationship with Jesus while hearing the gospel preached at Reality LA. From that day, her faith and relationship with Jesus grew tremendously.

Her passion for inner-city youth led her to join Hollywood Young Life as a volunteer. Over the course of two years, she witnessed the positive impact of the intentional, meaningful relationships she formed with high school girls and the transforming power of Jesus in their lives, which has had a direct influence on their families and communities. God continued to deepen Alison’s heart for youth and Los Angeles, until she felt the call to full-time ministry with Young Life. Alison is overjoyed to serve faithfully in Hollywood and Downtown LA and be part of the restorative work God is doing in this city!

Alison’s vision is to introduce youth to the person of Jesus by using a holistic approach to forming meaningful relationships with middle and high school students, including those furthest out. She seeks to raise up Jesus-loving teenagers to be leaders and disciples in their communities. Alison runs two weekly Young Life clubs, leads several camp trips throughout the summer, and hosts a weekly Bible study for a group of girls. She also equips and invests in the volunteer YL leaders who are crucial to the ministry.
