RESOURCE | How Great Leaders Inspire Action

Simon Sinek shares a simple but powerful model for inspirational leadership – starting with a golden circle and the question: “Why?” His examples include Apple, Martin Luther King Jr. and the Wright brothers.

An ethnographer by training, Simon is an adjunct of the RAND Corporation. He writes and comments regularly for major publications and teaches graduate-level strategic communications at Columbia University. He’s the author of the classic Start With Why; his latest book is Leaders Eat Last.
