RLA Kids Has a New Sunday Home!

We are so grateful to meet at Helen Bernstein High School each Sunday and be able to provide safe, hospitable, and joyful spaces for children to hear the gospel, engage in fun activities and crafts, and grow deeper in friendships with other children and volunteers. We are consistently seeking ways to grow in cultivating these spaces of grace and are really excited for our Preschool, K-1st, and 2nd-4th-grade kids to meet in a new location on Sundays: the school gym!

You can watch the video above to hear more of the reasons we’re making this change, including increased safety and security, unity among all our RLA Kids age ranges, a considerably decreased footprint for our hard-working facilities team and RLA Kids volunteers, and the ability to better utilize our financial resources towards engaging the children of our church with the wonder and beauty of the gospel in exciting and creative ways.

As much thought as we have put into this move, transitions are always tough and can often bring a variety of challenges — including unforeseen ones. Things may be a little less polished as we make tweaks and updates over the next few months. Throughout it all, our primary commitments the children’s safety and the teaching of the gospel will continue to be of the utmost importance. We ask you be mindful of all this in the next few months and seek to show us patience and grace as we grow into our new space!
