Our lives are a collection of moments, each strung together to make a whole life. And each one matters. Some moments bring joy, but others bring struggle and heartache. When they do, we check out, we complain, we compare, we self-medicate, we busy ourselves with lesser things. We tend to constantly look forward to what’s next, but in doing so we miss what God has for us right now.

It takes courage to dive into our current circumstances, but it’s also deeply meaningful — we’re made for it, made in the image of a God who is fully present to us. Let’s learn to answer God’s call to be fully present like he is present, to be brave, to be faithful, to be fruitful…exactly where we are. God tells us he has made everything beautiful in its time. He is at hand and at work in every moment, so let’s not let our moments pass us by!

This year’s speaker will be Kate Merrick from Reality Carpinteria, author of And Still She Laughs and Here, Now. Come with us as we get out of the city in order to seek God and connect with one another. We will be gathering from all over Los Angeles to worship and connect as family in Christ. Join us as we grow deeper in our love for God and for one another by learning together what it means that God calls us to the beauty of the here and now.
