Abide in Christ

Reality LA women! Join us for a special time around God’s word, prayer, and fellowship. To foster deeper connection with fellow Reality LA women in our neighborhoods, this summer we will gather by region.

In a fast-paced city like Los Angeles, everything around us is telling us we need to do more and be more. There are innumerable areas of growth, dreams, and outcomes to pursue. We rush from one location to the next, believing even our traffic time should be optimized by multitasking scheduled calls and listening to improvement podcasts.

This messaging bleeds into our spiritual lives. Even when we think about living on mission with Jesus, we imagine that so much depends on us, that more is better … so we overextending ourselves and burn out. This can leave us feeling empty, exhausted, and overwhelmed. But God invites us to abide in Jesus and watch him do the work in and through us.

At each regional meet-up, we’ll take a close look at John 15:1-11 and explore together why abiding in Jesus is essential for being on mission, and how to practice it.
