The Princess and the Police Officer is an annual partnership with our sisters and brothers of Hope Central Watts Church to host a father-daughter dance for elementary school-aged girls in the Compton area. Girls who don’t have a father figure to invite to the dance are paired with LAPD officers for the evening and connected to Hope Central Watts for future mentorship!

As disciples of Jesus we are called to witness to Christ and, specifically, to care for the orphaned and fatherless. Princess and the Police Officer is a tangible, truly impactful opportunity to do just that.

Volunteer

This year’s dance will take place at an elementary school in the Watts neighborhood (specifics will be given to those who sign up). We’re looking for hair stylists, makeup artists, photographers, and anyone willing to set up or serve food to help make the evening special for these little ones.
