Each year during LA’s coldest months, we join First Presbyterian Church of Hollywood, Ecclesia, Broken Hearts Ministry, and many others to care for 40 of the most vulnerable men and women living on the streets of Hollywood through Hollywood Winter Shelter, where we offer guests warm beds, hot meals, and loving Christian community.

Reality LA has committed to providing 28 meals from February 4 through February 18. Sign-ups will take place January 14 & 21 in the Helen Bernstein library from 11AM and 2PM. We invite community groups to think how you can serve either breakfast or dinner at the shelter one day during these two weeks.

There will then be a training meeting for serving at the shelter Sunday, January 28 from 11AM-12PM in the HBHS Library. All community group members who plan on serving at the shelter are encouraged to attend this meeting.

On the evening of January 18, we will also participate in an evening of fellowship and prayer alongside all the other churches and ministries involved as we engage homelessness and care for the shelter guests. This gathering will take place at First Presbyterian Church of Hollywood at 7PM and all are invited!
