Covenant House Christmas
As a church, we’ve been learning together how to understand the Life Cycle of Renewal: that we’re beloved, adopted, set free, and made whole by God. Being made whole applies to every human life, but bears a particular significance in the lives of those experiencing homelessness.
Our ministry partner Covenant House California reaches out to youth (ages 18-24) experiencing homelessness and offers them dignity, hope, and opportunities to turn their lives around. And we have committed to see that 100 youth at Covenant House receive Christmas presents this year!
Visit the Covenant House Christmas table on Sundays to pick up a card with a short resident bio and a present to bring, then deliver those presents, unwrapped, by December 10. Make sure they’re new, good quality, and something you’d be excited to give someone you love.
Not in a place to purchase anything right now?
Don’t worry! We have many other ways to get involved, like delivering the presents, taking a tour and praying over the CHC campus, or decorating the campus for Christmas! Email Local Missions Director Sarah Frank to learn more.
