Milla was born and raised in Helsinki, Finland, by devout Jesus followers and was educated at the Helsinki School of Economics and Business Administration, and at ESCP Business School in Paris, France.

She can’t remember life without Jesus—he’s always been real to her. Over the years, however, he’s become ever more personal and central to her existence. Her life wouldn’t make sense without him, and neither would she. Her parents modeled servant leadership, and from a young age it was her desire to serve the church as a layperson. But then God surprised her in her late 30s with a call to vocational leadership that led to a career change to match his deep calling to shepherd God’s flock! After 12 years of an international career in tech, God led her to Fuller Seminary here in Los Angeles.

Milla connects with God by spending time with Jesus through daily prayer and time in God’s Word, enjoying the beautiful world he’s created, and extending Jesus’ love by caring for the people he’s placed around her and guiding them towards the purposes of his kingdom.

She lives in Miracle Mile and loves LA’s sun, blue sky, and beaches. Milla is also advanced certified in wine—she never gets tired of tasting good wines and talking about them.
