Tell us a little bit about who you are!
Since 2002, ZOE International’s mission has been to reach every person with the gospel and rescue every child from human trafficking. We currently have operations in Thailand, Mexico, Japan, Australia, and the U.S.

How do you pursue God’s renewal of our city and world?
We prevent child trafficking crimes by educating communities about the dangers and providing public resources and consultation, rescue those being trafficked by supporting law enforcement in operations to help identify child and adult victims of trafficking and connect them to resources, and restore those who have been trafficked by providing safe, therapeutic homes and ongoing support for child trafficking survivors.
We believes the key to ending child trafficking is the gospel through the church. Churches can support healthy families to prevent trafficking, assist law enforcement and service providers to help rescue victims, and help survivors through their healing journey. We’ve been able to connect many children and their families to local churches and to share the hope and healing to be found in Christ.

How can we support you and engage with your mission?
Individuals can sign up for partnership opportunities here and see a list of our most urgent needs here. Continue to include is in annual partner Sundays, which is a great way to educate the church about what we do. Reality has also supported and shared such events and initiatives as Christmas campaigns, gifts and gift cards for the youth and families we serve, etc. We’ve brought youth to Sunday gatherings and they enjoyed it—we would love to continue refer youth and families to attend your church and refer clients to Serve LA’s ministries.

How do you hope this partnership will shape our church?
We’d love to provide education around trafficking to increase understanding and compassion for the children and families who become victims, but also to equip your families to protect themselves.

How can we pray for you?
Please pray for the safety of the children and families we serve and of our staff as we go into the most dangerous places to pull children out of their despair. Pray for healing from the abuse and trauma suffered by trafficked children and their families and for the financial resources to pursue our calling to reach every person with the gospel and rescue every child from human trafficking.
