Tell us a little bit about who you are!
CarePortal exists to bridge the gap between local churches and children and families in crisis. We equip churches to be the hands and feet of Jesus by providing real-time opportunities to serve vulnerable children and families in their own communities. Through our technology platform, we connect churches with the needs of families referred by child welfare professionals, allowing them to respond with tangible support, relationship, and prayer.

How do you pursue God’s renewal of our city?
Our work is rooted in God’s call to care for the orphan and the vulnerable (James 1:27). We believe the church is uniquely positioned to bring transformation, healing, and restoration to families in crisis. By meeting urgent needs, whether it’s providing a bed for a child, helping a struggling family keep their home, or walking alongside a caregiver, we help prevent unnecessary foster care placements and create opportunities for the church to live out the gospel in practical ways.

We deeply value our partnership with Reality LA. Some key ways to support us include:
• Actively respond to one or two monthly requests monthly
• Praying for families in crisis
• Helping spread the word about CarePortal’s mission
• Hosting community outreach events to increase awareness and participation
