Back-to-school season is coming and we’re excited to serve Los Angeles this month by supporting the amazing teachers of Helen Bernstein High School (HBHS), which has graciously hosted our Sunday gatherings since 2009!

Teaching is no easy task: 93% of educators report paying out of pocket for supplies needed in the classroom. Most use at least $500 of their own money to cover the shortfall of supplies provided by the school district. HBHS leadership has provided us with a list of teachers’ most requested items, and we want to love our neighbors by meeting some of these important needs. There are several ways to participate:

How to Participate

• Order online through this Amazon wishlist. We’ll receive all the items at the office before delivery day.
• Anytime you’re out shopping this month, add a few items from the list below to your cart to help show the forty teachers of HBHS how the love of Jesus changes everything! You can drop items off in the Helen Bernstein courtyard July 19 at either Sunday gathering.
• Join us the week before this next school year kicks off to deliver the supplies. This is a great opportunity to meet the teachers, have great conversations, and witness to Christ. If you’re interested in joining us, email events@realityla.com and we will get you involved!
