Healing from divorce isn’t easy. Most people say separation and divorce are the most painful and stressful experiences they’ve ever had. It’s a confusing time that raises many questions you’ve probably never encountered before.

• How long is this pain going to last?
• Will I survive?
• Are these feelings I’m having normal?
• Where is God in all this?

It’s easy to feel isolated while facing this experience.

DivorceCare groups meet weekly for eleven weeks to help those in separation and divorce face these challenges and move toward rebuilding life using Christ-centered tools, teachings, and support that can help deal with pain and provide hope for the future.

The groups include teachings from over 50 leading Christian counselors, teachers, and pastors; hearing real-life stories from others who have been in your shoes; discussion times; sharing personal experiences, and daily Bible study.

You’ll gain insights on how to handle tough emotions, such as anger, depression, and loneliness; as well as

• What to do about sexual temptation,
• How to get out of debt,
• What the Bible says about your situation,
• How to know if you’re ready for a new relationship,
• How to lessen the impact of divorce on your children,
• And pursuing reconciliation.

We will be honored to walk this difficult road with you.

DivorceCare will meet Tuesday nights from 7-9PM, beginning September 8, at First Presbyterian Church of Hollywood (1760 N Gower St).
