Growing up in Texas, Ace went to church regularly but experienced religion as a ritual rather than time spent with God. During college, his brother who had become a Christian shared about a college ministry and encouraged Ace to check it out at his own school. Searching for something more at that time in his life and seeing Jesus in the lives of his brother and his Christian friends, Ace decided to check out a Christian conference where the Holy Spirit opened his heart to who Jesus really is.

Post-college, Ace served in ministry for two years in Athens, Greece—formative, growth-filled years for him as a young believer as he learned to walk more closely with Christ and share his faith in a cross-cultural context.

Moving to Los Angeles afterwards and looking for a church, friends recommended Reality LA. Continuing his commitment to service, Ace has volunteered for the parking team, kids ministry, and leads a community group. He decided to share the rest of his life with one of his favorite members of that community group, who’s now his wife. Together, Ace and Morgan are raising two young children in family-friendly Burbank.

He works as a freelance production accountant in the challenging world of TV/Film production and decompresses from deadlines and the fast pace of production and life by cooking, spending time with his kids, and adventuring to new places with his wife outside the city. One of Ace’s favorite things about Los Angeles is being able to hike the mountains in the morning and go to the beach in the afternoon. He’s passionate about Jesus, community, and serving his family and friends.
