Tell us a little bit about who you are!
We’re an organization founded forty years ago with a mission to partner with local churches to serve children aged 6-12 in foster care. We’re in forty-four states and nine countries, serving over 7,400 children each year through 236 church-sponsored chapters.

How do you pursue God’s renewal of our city?
God created us to be in relationship with one another. Unfortunately, many children have experienced relational trauma and broken relationships. Through Royal Family KIDS Camp (RFKC) and mentoring, children can grow and experience healthy relationships with trusted, caring adults. We know these moments at camp and mentoring can change the trajectory of their lives and provide a new relationship framework—one points them to Jesus.

How can we support you and engage with your mission?
For The Children mobilizes local churches to host Royal Family KIDS Camp and mentoring programs for children who have experienced relational trauma. Our programs allow many different levels of engagement making this a real opportunity for each member of your church to utilize the gifts God has given them to impact the life of a child – from networking/fundraising to creative arts, to putting together pre-program items, to serving at camp or mentoring. The list is endless!

How do you hope this partnership will shape our church?
Training and supporting volunteer teams from your church to run programs and reach children in your local community through both a five-day summer camp and year-round mentoring provides tangible opportunities to fulfill the biblical mandate to serve the “least of these”—the orphan and widow.

How can we pray for you?
Pray for more churches to answer God’s call to serve the “least of these” and desire to learn more about the opportunity through Royal Family KIDS programs.
