Claris Health Diaper Drive
As the beloved and adopted children of God we desire to actively engage Los Angeles the way God engages with us. As Christ first loved us, so we love our city.
In January, we celebrated Sanctity of Life Sunday alongside our partners at Claris Health. In February, we toured the Claris facilities in Inglewood and made gift bags for new clients, moms who recently gave birth, and those who have experienced loss surrounding pregnancy. It was such a great opportunity to learn who we are as the beloved and minister to others out of that identity.
Our hearts and our heads are engaged with this ministry, so how do we use our hands to serve? How do we come alongside the moms and dads who have chosen to continue with their pregnancy and become parents? How do we walk alongside those who have made the hard decision to entrust their child to adoption? How do we care for those who have experienced heartbreak through abortion, infertility, or adoptions falling through? How has God called this church to adopt these families and individuals to walk with them in the midst of hard decisions, heartache and a ton of poopy diapers?
While we don’t have all the right answers, we are pursuing holistic care for kids and families as part of local missions. One of the ways we will do this is through the Claris Health Diaper Drive.
We’ll be collecting diapers, sizes 1-5, to donate to the new moms and dads working with Claris Health. Bring them to any of our gatherings (9AM, 10:30AM, 12PM, 5PM) on Sunday, the 10th.
