Claris Health Diaper Drive
As the beloved and adopted children of God we desire to actively engage Los Angeles the way God engages with us. As Christ first loved us, so we love our city.
In January, we celebrated Sanctity of Life Sunday alongside our partners at Claris Health. Earlier this month, we toured the Claris facilities in Inglewood and made gift bags for clients and new moms. It was such a great opportunity to learn who we are as the beloved and minister to others out of that identity.
Our hearts and our heads have engaged with this ministry, so how do we now use our hands to serve? How do we come alongside the moms and dads who have chosen to continue with their pregnancy and become parents? How do we walk alongside those who have made the hard decision to entrust their child to adoption? How do we care for those who have experienced heartbreak by abortion, infertility, or adoptions falling through? How has God called his church to adopt these families and individuals and walk with them in the midst of hard decisions, heartache, and a TON of poopy diapers?
While we don’t have all the right answers, we are pursuing holistic care for kids and families as part of local missions. One of the ways we are going to do this is with the Claris Health Diaper Drive.
On March 11, we will be collecting diapers, sizes 1-5, to donate to the new moms and dads working with Claris Health.
So go buy a pack of diapers and bring them here during any of our March 11 Sunday gatherings to donate them!
