When [Jesus] saw the crowds, he had compassion for them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd.
Jesus was motivated to come to the earth and enter into our suffering because he is full of compassion. Which means when he sees us in our sin and brokenness, his first response isn’t judgment, but mercy.
At Summer Camp 2018, we’re going to explore the compassion of Christ, learning how Jesus responds when we and those we love suffer.
Camps continue to be one of the most fruitful rhythms for RLA Youth, and our prayer is students will have a real encounter with Jesus this summer. We’re going to Big Bear in July for a time of activities and games, teachings, discussions, worship, and building relationships.
If you’re a member of RLA with kids in middle or high school, sign them up!
If you’re a member of RLA without kids in middle or high school, you can still participate in Summer Camp!
- Pray. Ask God to radically change the life of every kid in RLA Youth.
- Support kids financially. Many of the kids in our church need financial help. Whether it’s giving $10 or $1,000, everything helps.
We are so excited to see God move in the hearts of every student in RLA Youth!
