For the first time ever, we are excited to offer our Essentials course online!

Essentials is a seven-week overview of the foundational doctrines of the Christian faith. It’s also a great opportunity to learn more about what Reality LA believes and engage with other believers during this season of being safer at home.

The goal of Essentials is learning the way of Jesus by cultivating sound doctrine, which in turn leads to growing in godly living. The course aims to provide a foundation for a lifetime of growing in Christ, addressing such questions as:

• Who is God?
• What is the gospel?
• How do I interpret Scripture?
• Why is the church important?
• How do I live as a Christian in LA?

Essentials is one of the few things at RLA we ask everyone to commit to at least once, whether you just heard the gospel or have been a believer for decades.

This seven-week course will take place over Zoom Monday evenings, 7:30-9PM, starting June 1. The online version will still include small group discussions, Q&As with teachers, a digital Essentials workbook, and opportunities to connect with elders and other church leaders.

We especially want to encourage you to participate in this spring course if Essentials’ normal Sunday schedule has been why you haven’t yet been able to join us in person.
