Being baptized in Jesus’ name shows your identification with Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection (Acts 2:38; Romans 6:3-8; Colossians 2:12; 1 Peter 3:21). In baptism, you as a believer are publicly testifying that when Christ died on the cross for your sins, you died to your former life of sin against God. But as Christ was raised from the dead, so you were also raised to eternal life in relationship with him. Baptism is thus a public declaration and picture of the salvation found in Christ.
We will be incorporating baptisms into all three of our Helen Bernstein Sunday gatherings. Changing rooms, towels, and even a change of clothes, if needed, will be provided.
In preparation for baptisms, we also offer a baptism class. Though it is not mandatory, we encourage everyone getting baptized (or curious about baptism) to attend in order to gain a greater biblical understanding of baptism.

We have provided materials, including an overview of baptism and FAQ, that we ask every person considering baptism to carefully read and consider before getting baptized. To read more about Reality LA’s view of baptism and to register to be baptized, please click below.
