Ronald McDonald House

profile picture

The Los Angeles Ronald McDonald House is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to provide comfort, care and support to critically ill children and their families. This organization provides free temporary housing to accommodate 75 families each night—giving them the amenities of any typical home, including a room, communal kitchen, laundry rooms, and much more! Since its opening in 1980, the House has provided a “home away from home” to families while their child receives treatment at one of its partner hospitals in Los Angeles. The vision of the LA Ronald McDonald House is to create a community where children and their families embrace life and healing with a sense of hope, enthusiasm, courage and joy.
