The Christian life was never meant to be lived alone. When Jesus died on the cross for our sins, He reconciled us to Himself and also to one another. Because of His loving sacrifice, we can now glorify God by loving Him, loving one another, and loving our city.

At the 2015 Women’s Retreat, we’ll gather together from every corner of Los Angeles to worship Jesus and celebrate the unity we have in Him! Please join us as we pray, study Scripture, and seek to grow deeper in our understanding of God and His call to live life together on mission.


The cost of the retreat is $160, which includes five meals and two nights’ accommodations. We don’t want money to be a hindrance for anyone, so if finances are an issue, please speak with your community group leader and tell us about your situation when prompted on the registration page.


Check-in will take place on Thursday, June 18, from 4:00PM to 7:00PM. Dinner will be served at 7:00PM, and the first teaching session will begin at 8:00PM. For questions on late check-in, please see the FAQ section below. Our final session will conclude at 12:00PM on Saturday, June 20.


After completing the online registration form, you will be directed to our giving app, Pushpay. When submitting your payment, please write “2015 Women’s Retreat – Your Name” in the reference section.

If you would like to make a general donation to help others attend the retreat, you can go directly to the Pushpay giving page and type “2015 Women’s Retreat – General Fund” in the reference section. If you’d like to sponsor a specific person, enter “2015 Women’s Retreat – Attendee Name” in the reference section. Sponsored attendees, however, should complete their own registration.

All attendees need to fill out the Reality LA Waiver of Liability and bring it to the retreat.

If you’re under 18, please also fill out our Medical Consent Form in addition to the Waiver of Liability and bring both with you to the retreat.


What time does check-in end on Thursday?

Check-in will be from 4:00PM to 7:00PM, and will resume immediately after our evening session for those arriving late.

Can I come up on Friday?

If you’re unable to make it on Thursday, we ask that you arrive in time for morning check-in on Friday at 9:00AM. If that’s not possible, please email for more information.

Can I leave early?

We encourage you to stay for the entire retreat, but understand if you have to leave early.

Is there a reduced rate if I can’t attend the whole time?

If you’re only going to attend on Friday during the day, you can pay just $50. But if you plan on staying overnight, we ask that you please pay the full amount of $160.

Is there financial assistance available?

Yes. We don’t want financial hardship to keep anyone from attending. While completing your online registration, please indicate your request for financial assistance. If you’re a member of an RLA community group, please also discuss your need with a leader.

Will meals be provided?

All meals from Thursday night through Saturday morning will be provided by the conference center.

What if I’m a vegetarian or have a food allergy?

Please indicate that you’re vegetarian or have a specific food allergy on the online registration form, and the conference center will do its best to accommodate you. However, the kitchen staff may not be able to accommodate all dietary needs, so please consult with us at if you have any questions.

Is there a swimming pool?

Yes, so feel free to bring an extra towel and a swimsuit. A one-piece suit is not necessary, but please be mindful of modesty.

Do I need to bring my own bedding?

All linens (pillows, sheets, blankets, and bath towels) will be provided by the conference center. If you plan to use the pool, please bring an extra towel.

How long is the drive from LA to the retreat?

The trip can take anywhere from 1.5 to 2.5 hours, depending on traffic. We recommend planning ahead and checking traffic conditions online before you leave.

Is the church arranging a carpool?

RLA is not arranging an official carpool. Rather, we encourage attendees to arrange travel with their community group through The City.

What will the weather be like?

Weather in Twin Peaks for the month of June is usually between 70 and 80 degrees during the day and in the 40s at night. We suggest that you check the forecast the week of the retreat and dress accordingly.

Will there be any free time? If so, what is there for me to do?

There will be free time during the day on Friday. Some groups are planning on going to Lake Arrowhead Village (a ten-minute drive away), and you may also go for a hike with friends in the hills, swim in the pool, or just rest at the retreat center. No matter what you choose to do, we encourage you to be intentional with your time and connect with women from your area of Los Angeles.
