A native of the California Central Coast (represent!), Rebecca Redig was raised in a spiritually-divided home. The family had been wounded by several bad church experiences, but Rebecca was exposed to and believed in the Gospel nevertheless.
Even as a child, Rebecca aspired to full-time ministry with a specific desire for overseas missions. Sure of her calling, Rebecca almost went rogue, seeing college as an unnecessary means to her pre-conceived idea of ministry and family. But the Lord knows better, and Becca pumped the brakes, finished school, and began serving in music ministry at a local church.
After visiting Reality in its earliest stages, Rebecca fell in love with the church and the mission in Los Angeles. About a year later, Rebecca was asked to lead worship at a service when the regular leader was absent. This opportunity led to her singing consistently on Sunday mornings.
The Lord grew Rebecca’s compassion for people and desire to show His mercy to Los Angeles. Eventually, God laid it on the hearts of the pastors at Reality LA to bring Rebecca on staff to coordinate events and missions.
When she’s not listening to, playing, and writing music, Rebecca also enjoys the outdoors, reading, traveling, and cooking for friends.
