Devan is a Southern man, hailing from Alexandria, Louisiana, a town nestled within the Kitsatchie (Kiss-SATCH-ee) National Forest. Devan's last name, DuBois, actually means "of the woods", and appropriately enough he spent much of his youth adventuring in the forest.
Growing up in a culture where the majority profess Christianity but many do not live it, Devan was blessed to grow up in an authentically Christian home. It wasn't until tenth grade however, that he realized the reality of Christ in contrast to the emptiness of the world.
Devan studied Accounting and Finance in college, and after graduating moved to Los Angeles. He started attending Reality LA after searching for a church body where he felt theologically at home.
In addition to running numbers for RLA, Devan acts, plays music, and is a working model (I don’t really see it, but whatever). He has every Bob Dylan album, and used to sing in a hardcore band called Ruth.
