Cody grew up soaking wet under the rainclouds of Tacoma, Washington, a shadowy land where the sun is a mere rumor. He was raised in a Christian home but, like many, believed in the Gospel only abstractly. In his late teens he began to rebel, still believing in God but not wanting to live a godly life. His habitual drinking and partying continued until one night, in a drunken rage, he recognized how fallen he was. That night, Cody turned his whole life over to Jesus.
Soon after, Cody went to Bible college and entered vocational ministry. He helped start a church in Olympia, Washington, where he met and married his wife Rachael. For several years, Cody served as a pastor in St. George, Utah, and acclimated to normative levels of sunlight. When that season came to an end, Cody, his wife, and two little ones moved to LA.
Cody currently serves Reality LA as a Biblical Living Counselor, and he’s deeply passionate about seeing people grow in their relationships with Jesus.
Cody loves coffee, 1968 Dodge Darts, and watching Disney princess films with his two daughters. The “with his two daughters” part makes this socially acceptable.
