Women’s Care

Our view of ministry at Reality LA is modeled after Ephesians 4:12, which states that the saints – that is, all Christians in the church – are called to the work of ministry.

Therefore, we do not have what is commonly referred to as a “women’s ministry,” but rather a care team that exists to equip the women in the church to minister to one another.

Our intention for women’s care at RLA is to provide the following:

• Encourage and facilitate individual women to give and receive support on a relational level that is Christ-centered. This is primarily accomplished through community groups.
• Supply women with gender-specific, Biblical resources to help in the care they provide at a community group level.
• Provide short-term, Biblically-based, crisis counseling for women.
• Provide referrals to lay counselors and professional therapists as needed.
