Perspectives is a dynamic weekly course that seeks to encourage God’s people in strategically partnering with Him in accomplishing His missional purposes across the globe. For over 40 years, Perspectives has had a far-reaching effect on believers, mission agencies, and churches, with over 250,000 people having taken the class. Reality LA is strategically partnering with Perspectives to host this class because of its central goal of seeing God’s glory known by all people groups across the world.

Consider the gravity of this task: there are groups of people across the world – thousands and thousands of families – who have never heard the name of Jesus and who don’t have any Christians living amongst them. As Christians, we are called to share the good news with every tribe, tongue, and nation. Reality LA’s immediate mission of seeking the renewal of Los Angeles is connected to this greater mission of what God is doing across the globe; this is a powerful reality that we are called to be a part of!

The Perspectives class equips believers through four main vantage points (biblical, historical, cultural, and strategic), and features a wide variety of teachers from many different cultures, experiences, and walks of life. The class will be a space to be challenged by the gospel, to continually turn to Scripture, to wrestle with ideas that we may not align with, and to prayerfully think through hard (and sometimes uncomfortable) questions – all so that we can grow in understanding God’s global purposes for our world and how they affect each and every one of us!

Reality LA is not putting this class on, but will be hosting this course at the church office on Sunday nights at 5PM, starting January 15.
